The Scherbe is a great place, where the students and all kinds of locals meet for many years now. The staff is friendly and willing to help, and the food is great, ranging from Korean Krautsalat to Empanadas. My Empanadas came with bacon, mushrooms, onions and more and a cream dip, very yummy. For the drink I took a big apple juice with sparkling water. The atmosphere of the Scherbe is relaxed and easygoing and you easily can sit for hours with your friends and to work in a vibrant environment. I even spotted plugs here to charge devices. And the center location of the Scherbe is just across the river Mur on the opposite of the Schlossberg, what makes the Scherbe an ideal starting point to have a night out. And what’s a true asset of this place is its long opening hours, Monday to Saturday until 1 am and as for the cellar even longer.
But see it for yourself:
As the slide show for your convenience:
The Bottom Line: The Scherbe, in the Stockergasse 2, in 8020 Graz, is great place where the locals meet located in the center of the Old Town of Graz on the opposite of the Schlossberg with a nice atmosphere and long opening hours.
