The vegan Café Erde is a healthy/organic place, named after ‘Erde’, the German term for ‘earth’, located right at Andreas-Hofer-Platz in the Center of Old Town of Graz. Its staff is friendly and willing to help and the atmosphere is relaxed, an ideal spot to chill out amongst the alternative scene. The Café Erde even features a big and sunny Gastgarten (patio), what is quite an exception for a location in the center. The food is great: We had a Caffé Latte and an Apfelschnitte (Apple Pie), as well as a Cappuccino, a peach juice and a peanut tart on a another day. All is organic here and tastes healthy and the coffe is Fair Trade. This place is small but very cosy in a sense that they know how to make the most of the architecture and have a nice interior as well as this community feel. And the opening hours are great as well here (open till 10 pm). And for all the vegans out there, it’s all vegan here!
But see it for yourself:

The Bottom Line: The vegan Café Erde, located at the Andreas-Hofer-Platz 3, in 8010 Graz, is a great place to relax and to meet your friends and to chill after a long working day, since here the community spirit is central.
